- Material: The tumbler is made of durable 304 stainless steel. It features an electro-polished surface, which acts as an effective, food-safe non-stick coating, eliminating the need for problematic Teflon-based PFE-PTFE coatings and preventing contamination.
- Dimensions & Design: It has a 6-inch diameter which, according to Backyard Provider, is designed to minimize “wall crawl” (product sticking to the sides). This design feature facilitates a gentle and efficient flow of the product through the machine, reducing damage to the flowers. The tumbler features 40 slots that are 1/4″ in size.
- Performance: The standard tumbler works best on a wide range of “quality” wet and dry flowers, especially at moisture levels between 11-13%. Its design is noted for providing a 25% increase in cutting surface compared to older models, which translates to a faster and closer cut.
